The understated elegance of Rosemary Beach was the ideal backdrop for Ali and Brian’s classic color scheme of black and white with gold accents. The event planner was absolutely thrilled with her destination wedding to her CPA groom, and they both thoroughly enjoyed their weekend in one of the most beautiful places along the Emerald Coast.

“So many people warned us it would go by quickly and we wouldn’t remember a thing,” Ali said. “We feel incredibly lucky because we remember every detail! The day as a whole was so fun and filled with so much laughter and love.” Even the flower girl yelling that she had to go potty in the middle of the ceremony was right in line with their self-described goofy personalities and has become a fond memory from this lively event.

No stranger to destination milestones, their decision to have breathtaking Rosemary Beach serve as the setting for what Ali called “a multi-day party with all your loved ones” was an easy one. They loved all the alleyways, doorways and beauty of the architecture, and chose to focus on the unique nooks and crannies for photos. Their choice of a black-and-white checkered dance floor at their reception on Rosemary Beach’s St. Augustine Green created a wonderfully timeless feel to the evening.

Though Ali and Brian make their home in South Florida, they got engaged in New York. In the city for a girls’ weekend, unsuspecting Ali had just finished brunch with her best friend that crisp fall Saturday. After some window shopping on the Upper East Side, they decided a stroll through Central Park would be an excellent way to cap off the morning. Her friend made sure they stumbled upon Brian, who was waiting in the most private nook of the park to pop the question. They finished off the weekend celebrating with their friends in the city before heading home to a surprise celebration with their families.

After closing out 2015 with an amazing honeymoon week beach and bar-hopping through St. Barth’s and Nevis, Ali and Brian started 2016 off with a bang. She landed a new position with Saks Fifth Avenue and he snagged a promotion at his firm. We were thrilled to hear that the idea of a return to Rosemary for their anniversary is a possibility, because we think there couldn’t be a more fitting way to cap off a truly incredible year.
