Pure 7 Studios Featured in VIE Magazine

Pure 7 Studios is grateful and excited to have our recent collaborations with artist Andy Saczynski featured in VIE Magazine. This award winning luxury lifestyle magazine is an asset to our community and a true representation of style, taste, culture, and class. Having had the pleasure of working one on one with VIE’s publisher, Lisa Burwell, and their creative team, we can genuinely call this a gratifying experience. On top of possessing a sincere zest for life and an admirable work ethic, Lisa clearly has her finger on the pulse of what’s trending in this day and age. VIE Magazine has consistently published meaningful content that touches on the importance of artists worldwide and we are humbled to be included among them. We want to extend a very heartfelt thank you to Lisa and the crew at VIE for the exceptional exposure on a nationwide level. The article has created an unprecedented amount of buzz and the feedback has been nothing short of amazing. What started as a simple idea to enhance our photography has turned into a successful endeavor and we are eternally grateful for VIE’s contribution to our dream.

“Creating any type of art for a living is a risk that goes beyond the bottom line all the way to your soul.”

A couple of high school buddies coming together to create an original art style might sound like something out of a Mark Twain novel but that’s exactly how this all came about. The beginning of Andy and Pure 7’s relationship dates all the way back to high school. Some time later, despite both of them having realized their dreams of running their own art studios full time, neither of them had ever seriously discussed working together. When Ryan finally decided to approach Andy with a painted photography concept that had been tucked away in the back of his mind for nearly ten years, he was astounded to find that Andy had been contemplating the same idea! Apparently, great minds really do think alike.

Pure7 Summer | Hangout Music Festival Shot on Film

As we wrap up the last full week of summer break and summer beach portraits, we thought we’d take a look back at a session that was definitely not your average beach shoot.

Pure7 Studios Film Hangout Summer Music Festival 2016

One rainy Friday morning in May, our own Ryan Manthey joined the throngs of the faithful making the annual pilgrimage to the mecca of music festivals. Held along the breathtakingly beautiful beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama, Hangout Music Festival cannot be explained; it has to be experienced. And experience it, he did.

Emerald Coast Weddings | Featured Friday

Featured Friday is here! It’s been quite a while since we’ve celebrated some of our published weddings and we are excited to show you! It always brightens up our day when that “You’ve Been Featured” email drops into our inbox, because that means we’ve gotten to photograph yet another bride with a truly unique sense of style. And when we have one picked up by multiple outlets, including a print publication, we are just beside ourselves.

Pure7 Photos Featured in EC Magazine

Truth be told we are loving all the buzz from this year’s Digital Graffiti. It’s been around for almost a decade and is starting to catch on for both locals and visitors lucky enough to be in Alys Beach when it takes place. Per usual Ryan shot a bunch of the event photos and just last week we blogged the commercial videos Alan shot at DG for Facetime Photobooth. Today we’re sharing the pages of Pure7 photos featured in EC Magazine where Digital Graffiti lives on for just a little longer in the latest issue.

If you’re not familiar with the event or EC Magazine, check them out! Both are worth your time (and money). Especially since the latest issue includes our latest feature! While you’re at it, Alys Beach is also a great place to visit even if you can’t make it when DG is happening. Its beautiful beaches are often the backdrop for our wedding photography and family beach photos.

Modern Vintage Wedding in Watercolor, FL | Featured Friday

Can you believe July is over? This month just seemed to fly by as we went out to shoot our family beach photos and destination weddings up and down 30A. Another season of beautiful brides and dapper grooms were added to our Pure7 Family Photo Album. We can’t wait to show you all of their weddings and promise it’s worth the wait. In the meantime, we have a modern vintage wedding we photographed that was featured on Every Last Detail (ELD) just two days ago.

You’ll see in the photos why ELD just had to blog this wedding. While we’re proud of the photos, we must give our bride Kristen credit for having such a vision when she planned her big day. She thought of everything and while sometimes this can lead to an overdone color or clashing of multiple styles, Kristen out did herself to perfection. She took some very well known themes and made them her own which allowed us to really capture not only their big day at Watercolor Inn Resort, but who they are as a couple.

One of the most surprising or unique things about Kristen and Eric’s wedding is that they got married at one of the most sought after “beach wedding” locations – but they didn’t get married on the beach! We’re so happy they chose to get married here and, furthermore, that they chose us to shoot their wedding video and wedding photos. The video wasn’t included in the feature, so you’ll have to check back and see it all in action when we share it.

Take note of all of the awesome vendors that made this wedding so wonderful and be sure to pin your favorite pictures to Pinterest!

Sequins and Things in Rosemary Beach, FL| Featured Friday

Ryan was able to do a photo session with Alyson Haley of Sequins and Things during her recent trip to Rosemary Beach, FL. Words rarely express the love we feel when we get asked to collaborate with others who are creatively driven. There’s an energy and vibe we can’t explain. You feed off one another and hopefully end up with magical results. Working with Alyson was no different and we wish we could claim her as a local and shoot for her blog on the regular. She was truly a delight and, like all of our clients, one of the coolest cats around.

You can imagine how excited we were to find out the feeling was mutual when we saw what she wrote about us last month in her blog post.

“I shot with Ryan, a local photographer, from Pure 7 Studios … and y’all. I was so impressed! He was so easy to work with and hilarious, had tons of different lenses to get the shot he or you needed / wanted … and I’m very happy with all the photos. Very. If you’re in the area, be sure to give them a call to book a session with them! Family or engagement sessions in that area are a dream. Seriously.”   – Alyson Haley

While you sit and contemplate collaborating with us on your having your own fashion shoot or family beach photos enjoy the photography and the fashion. Then socialize with us on twitter, instagram, and facebook and let us know what you think.

Bride and Groom |Another 30a Featured Friday

It’s been a few weeks since we’ve celebrated some of our published weddings which truly feature the Bride and Groom. Let these couples and their pictures inspire you as every wedding photo collection is a unique visual expression representing the love between the newlyweds.

The first wedding we’re sharing is Jamie and Matt‘s which was featured on 30a Weddings.  The groom accented their neutral look with a green tie which coordinated perfectly with her bouquet. They chose earth tones for their colors and it matched them perfectly. Everything about them and their celebration emphasized how much natural beauty there is in the world if we just pay attention to the people, places, and things.

Our next feature can be found on Every Last Detail showing off Lindsie and Shane‘s white wedding which took place in coveted Alys Beach.

“Well besides the fact of walking down the aisle and seeing my future husband steps in front of me, my next favorite thing about my wedding has to be the setting and how quaint it was.” – The Bride

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves, Lindsie! Be sure to look at the full feature to read all of her thoughts on their special day.

We didn’t think it could get any better, but then we had Katie and Michael featured on Borrowed and Blue. Without wanting to spoil their amazing wedding with our words, I’ll just say the phrase “it’s all in the details” has probably never been more true. Everywhere you look within these beautiful weddings, there’s inspiration for every bride and groom.

FEATURED FRIDAY |Pure7 Beach Weddings

Today’s Featured Friday is coming at you in threes. We’re sharing three features from three different blogs covering three different weddings. As always, it’s empowering to see our industry embrace the work we do. Plus, our clients never cease to amaze which is so humbling. With no further delay, three more Pure7 Beach Weddings we’re proud to share.

The first is the intimate wedding between Tara and Chris at Watercolor Resort. Featured on Every Last Detail, this is sure to be a wedding with inspiration and ideas because there are pictures on pictures on pictures showing how sometimes less really is more. If you’re deciding what size wedding you want, this wedding is a MUST SEE.

Second, we’re sharing with you the Seaside, FL wedding of Natalie and Parker. Southern Weddings featured this Pure7 Wedding being sure to point out just how much of a true southern belle Natalie is. With stylish two-tone bridesmaids dresses and the sweetest of love stories (which is shared in the article), we can see why Southern Weddings shined a little light on their big day.

Our third and final feature for today is from none other than Floridian Social. Lauren and Brett are high school sweethearts who dated all through college as well before moving to Destin, FL.  They even brought their favorite college band to come play at their beachfront wedding. Here’s a great look into a couple with a love that had already stood the test of time when they said their I Dos.
