A Timeless Seaside Wedding | Angie & Mike

We met this fun couple last spring when we shot their engagement portraits (you can see those here), so we already knew their wedding would be fantastic. We were absolutely thrilled, though, when it turned out to be even more fabulous than we ever anticipated. But we weren’t the only ones to fall in love with this classic Seaside wedding. Not one, but two industry publications chose to feature this beautiful day: wedding blog Borrowed and Blue, and this fall’s print edition of The Knot magazine.

When you see the photos from Angie & Mike’s sweet rustic Seaside wedding, you’ll understand why it was so irresistible.

Katie + Michael | Seaside 30A Weddings

We are *thisclose* to getting all of our happy 2012 weddings up on the blog!  Hey, better late than never, right?  And with the sun shining like crazy today — bright, blue skies and all — we thought Katie and Michael’s sunny and full-of-blue-skies Seaside wedding (say that five times fast) would be perfect for today’s feature!

There’s kind of a common theme among our wedding couples, and it’s that they all seem to have these charming, adorable, lovely, happy little personalities.  We’re pretty sure every wedding couple that’s sent our way is a match made in heaven.  Katie and Michael are no exception, as they were just adorable and awesome and all of the other “aboves”.

Their intimate ceremony took place overlooking the beach in Seaside, with a dinner reception immediately following at the nearby — and incredibly phenomenal — Cafe 30A restaurant.  If you’ve never experienced Cafe 30A, go now.  You won’t be disappointed.  They offer a private room upstairs that’s just perfect for more intimate wedding receptions.

Heather, of Defining Moments Weddings & Events, did an incredible job, as always, coordinating Katie and Michael’s wedding day, and putting them into the hands of some of very talented wedding friends.  Florals by the Sea never fails to disappoint in the area of design, decor and flowers, and Sweet for Sirten‘s cake was a perfect compliment to the amazing food.  Fantastic job by all and here’s to many years of happiness and sunshine, Katie and Michael!

Rachael + Chuck | Seaside, Florida Wedding Photographers

We’re featuring another blast from wedding’s past: It’s Rachael & Chuck’s gorgeous Seaside beach wedding!  With their ceremony taking place on the beach with Chuck’s son Caden and closest friends and family by their side, this wedding couldn’t have been any sweeter.  Throw in beautiful flowers from Florals by the Sea, gorgeous lace and seersucker details, coordination by Heather (who at the time coordinated through Seaside, but now owns Defining Moments Weddings & Events), and you have yourself a wedding that serves as a Seaside Florida wedding photographer’s dream!

We loved Rachael & Chuck and truly enjoyed getting to know them in the months leading up to the wedding.  We were even able to spend a little time with them the following day for a ‘next day session’, which they used as an opportunity to capture some great beach family photos with Caden.  The last photo we’ve included is one of our favorites of the two of them.  Fun couple, gorgeous wedding and a beautiful family – what more can we say?

Lauren & Trey’s Seaside Beach Wedding

When Jennifer {“Jen2”} from It’s a Shore Thing popped in one afternoon with Lauren to chat about the possibility of us photographing her upcoming Seaside Chapel wedding, we spent the next couple hours giddy with excitement after getting to know this sweet girl from Arkansas.  Not only do we love Seaside weddings, we also love a bride who we immediately click with.  They had spent the day talking flowers and food and cake and all-things wedding, so by the time they got to us, we were like, “Helloooo, let’s have this amazing wedding tomorrow!”  Jen the wedding planner basically thought we had lost our marbles {which sometimes happens when we get giddy with excitement; especially that Erica – she even starts climbing walls and running laps around the studio sometimes}, so we decided we put on our patient pants and wait until April rolled around for Lauren & Trey’s pretty wedding. And boy, oh boy, was it ever pretty!

We arrived to find our gorgeous bride getting dolled up by the oh-so-talented Johnathan Doria and Deana Kale, and even stumbled across all of Lauren’s wicked-fun details.  A cute weekend welcome packet, a gorgeous old Bible wrapped in ribbon for the sweet ring bearer to tote down the aisle, and a pair of sparkly pumps that made our little cameras do a slight backflip.  UH-dorable.  Oh, and did we mention the dress?   Sigh.  Being a wedding photographer is really hard sometimes.

We moseyed on over to the pretty white chapel for their sweet nuptials, then on to the drool-worthy {also known as reallydarnpretty} Lyceum Lawn reception, where we were ecstatic to find lawn games (hi, have you heard of life-sized Jenga?  Yeah, us either and it was pretty great), more sparkles, a chevron cake, and a whole night’s worth of boogie-down tunes.  Oh!  There was also a very fabulous church pew awaiting our arrival for those amazing beach sunset photos . . . all Lauren’s idea!  (We failed to mention that being a 30A wedding photographer is also really hard sometimes.)

Wanna see a Seaside beach wedding photographer in-action?  Well then lookie here:

Ever so grateful for the AMAZING team of wedding professionals that worked so hard to bring this gorgeous day together for two special people!
