flesher family

Here are some shots from the Flesher family beach session. The Fleshers are from Kentucky and were staying at San Remo out by Ed Walline park. Their two kids were very easy to photograph, it definitely made the shoot go smoothly. We have been blessed with the greatest families so far this season. Thank you Flesher family.

palmgren family

The latest beach session we had was of the Palmgren family. This was a two day shoot and we could not have asked for better weather. The day was hot but as soon as the sun went down it was very pleasant. The Palmgren’s are a great family and like to have fun, and believe it or not they all get along with each other.

Houston 8 shoot

This past Saturday we had a commercial/retail shoot for Houston 8  and it was such a blast. Margaret Houston, owner, is just as sweet as she is beautiful. Thanks, Margaret, for the opportunity to work with you. It was great fun and we hope to do it again! Also many thanks to our awesome models, musician for hire Hunter Dawson and Hillary Fosdyk of MonarK Events.

“Houston 8 offers Men’s and Women’s contemporary clothing; providing fashion forward trends to the Emerald Coast for those leading a life less formal. With jeans from Taverniti So, 575, 1921, Stitch’s, Paige, and Chip and Pepper, Houston 8 fields a designer denim collection that could rival boutiques from New York City to Los Angeles. Houston 8 also carries contemporary lines from James Perse, Elijah, Hardtail, Mint, PHB, Genera, American Vintage and many, many others to complement the endlessly hip, relaxed and stylish denim selections; ultimately providing a phenomenal look no matter where one may venture.”

Of the 700+ photos we took I loved them all. Here are just a few of our favorites.

Dave & Denae’s weddding Part 2

Here are more from Dave & Denae’s weddding. A few of the “getting ready” photos. Bear with us, they are a bit out of order.

Beautiful, as always.

One of the cutest families we know.

Denae’s Gown

Family gathered around one of the twins as Denae tried to style his hair.
Time for Denae to get herself ready for the big day.
Smiling as big as he can.

Dave & Denae’s weddding

Let me start of by saying these are two of the best people I know. Dave has been a great friend of mine for a long time. The two of them together is something special. It is so corny but they are really meant for each other. And they are blessed with twin boys, Chase & Carter. Even the rain couldn’t stop it from being a great day, although I am glad it held of until we were done taking photos at the garden. It was a perfect wedding. Congrats guys we love you.

Here is Gina with Denae
And Dave with Chase or Carter, I can’t tell….

Kelly Senior Session

So, nothing like shooting a last minute senior session three weeks before graduation. I tried out a new location because of the time crunch, so it worked out very well. I could shoot seniors everyday, I love it. Kelly is a friend of the family, and just last year we took her sisters senior portraits. It seems like it was just yesterday, crazy.

Beau & Gretchen Engagement

“Beau and I had a great time getting our engagement pictures taken on Sunday. We were impressed, before meeting both of you, with the quality of the photography, but you both are so laid back and fun to be around that it made the experience that much better…
…Thanks again for making our engagement session one to remember!”

Couples like Gretchen & Beau are why we love what we do so much. They were so fun, very laid back and very easy to shoot (even though they are Gators, go Noles!!!). During the shoot we somehow managed to break two wine glasses, do not ask how. We cannot wait until their wedding next year it is going to be a great time.

miss destin 2008

I had the privilege of shooting one of the girls in the Miss Destin Pageant tonight, Brooke. She is one of 9 girls competing for the crown. The theme for the shoot was taken from the Miss Destin Pageant from the 50’s. The pageant will be tomorrow at 7pm at the Destin Community Center. I will post some photos tomorrow when I get back.

I’ve converted…..

I am a born again mac user! i just ordered a 24in imac, and i am soo excited. i am currently running a 6yr old pc. there have been many nights, while editing, that i nearly put my fist through the monitor in frustration. editing on a computer like this is VERY time consuming. so i decided that it was time to reward myself and get the best out there. you could even say that i “rededicated my life” to mac. i briefly owned a mac book pro and fell in love with it, it was the most beautiful machine. but due to certain reasons i had to send it back. alas i am back, i feel like a little boy and christmas is tomorrow

george & laura engagement shoot

These are from our most recent engagement shoot. This couple was a blast to work with. They were up for anything and had amazing chemistry! Shooting them reminded us of why we love what we do so much…thanks, George & Laura! Can’t wait until their wedding…
