Suzi didn’t need to schedule hair+makeup for her senior session with Rachel Marie, Pure7’s apprentice photographer (more on Rachel in a future post!) because she cut off all her hair. If you know Suzi, you know she didn’t think twice about parting with her gorgeous curls at a time when many girls would be adding extensions. That’s because donating her hair to make a wig for a cancer patient was the priority on her to-do list. And that was just one of many things we loved about this girl and her senior session.

Suzi’s family arrived on the Emerald Coast by way of the military, and decided life along the beautiful beaches of Destin and 30A was worth putting down roots. It wasn’t an easy life, though, and those tumultuous years shaped Suzi’s decisions about her future. Now a full-time student working four – yes, four – jobs to put herself through school, she credits her mother and grandmother as the silent, behind-the-scenes heroes who modeled the values of compassion and service that she aspires to in her daily life. Rachel thoroughly enjoyed shooting her, as you can tell by these gorgeous photos, and Suzi had nothing but good things to say.

“My experience with Rachel from Pure7 was nothing but wonderful,” Suzi told us. “Rachel made me feel very comfortable, even though taking pictures can be awkward. She is very kind, creative, and has a way of making you feel important, beautiful, and special.”

Call us or message us, and let’s talk about a senior shoot to capture this special time in your family’s life. These memories are priceless. Let us preserve them for you.
