Situated at the eastern-most end of 30A is the neo-traditional community of Rosemary Beach. Founded on principles of both new urbanism and traditional neighborhood development, this Gulf-front development was created to bring back the coastal living dream of convenience and community. With shapes and silhouettes that mimic New Orleans, St. Augustine, the West Indies and Charleston, the architecture and design of rosemary beach is like no other Gulf Coast area.
In the center of the quaint Rosemary Beach Town Square, you’ll find the perfect indoors location for a wedding ceremony: Town Hall. This popular wedding venue has housed many special celebrations and can even double as a reception space after a cocktail hour on its private outdoor lawn. If a seaside soiree is something you desire, you’ll have the pick of two beachfront lawns that are perfect for ceremonies and receptions alike. Nestled on the north side of the county highway is the more secluded St. Augustine Green, and several poolside options as well.
Bringing families and couples to any of the weathered wood boardwalks under a drape of oak trees makes for an absolutely dreamy heirloom portrait, and that is exactly why this area is one of our favorite places to photograph weddings and for family portraits. A European essence creates the perfect romantic beachside setting.
Spend just one afternoon strolling this unique community, visiting the eateries and boutique shops and taking in the distinct European essence, and you’ll see why Rosemary Beach is the ideal romantic coastal setting in which to say “I do.”
