We send all of our couples a worksheet to fill out approximately 3-4 weeks before their wedding day. This allows them to select which family formal groupings they want photographed, as well as make any special requests. We advise our clients to avoid going to the trouble of creating a lengthy ‘shot list’. From every wedding, we make sure to capture the getting ready moments, details, family & bridal party formals, romantic bride & groom photographs, first dance photos, cake cutting, and SO much more. For the rest of the day, we take a photojournalistic approach focused on unplanned, spontaneous moments of love, laughter, and tears (of joy). If we are carrying around a lengthy ‘shot list’, it is difficult to capture the candid images you hired us for. However, if you have a few specific requests that are important to you, we’d love to hear them!
