Getting engaged is always an exciting time and then comes the pre-wedding planning fun- dreaming up your perfect day! Planning a wedding is no small feat, which is why we always recommend an Emerald Coast wedding planner. Below you can find a few planners we’ve worked with and featured on the blog over the years:

As you decide what wedding planner will be the best fit for you, part of the fun in the days and weeks following your engagement is working through exactly what your perfect day will entail! We’re fortunate to live in a time where there are so many digital tools that can help simplify the creative process and offer inspiration and ideas you may have never thought of before.

There are dozens of helpful resources that can help you find unique ideas, keep them organized, stay on budget, plan color schemes and more. Here are just a few of our favorites:

The Knot

You’re probably already familiar with The Knot’s website (and if you’re not, you should absolutely check it out!), but did you know that they have an app as well? It has a number of awesome features for keeping all your dream wedding details together. Sync the app with your location to explore local venues and vendors, too!

Zola

Zola is another helpful platform with an app you can use for your wedding details.  They have options to create a wedding website, registry, and more.  You can even create invitations and keep a digital copy of your guests’ RSVPs and contact information to easily send out thank yous post wedding!

Pinterest

Pinterest is a wonderful resource for finding any creative inspiration – it’s not limited only to weddings. You can use Pinterest to find ideas for anything from your dress, hairstyle or makeup to color schemes to decorations and cute details. Have a particular theme in mind? Search within that theme to find fun, creative ideas that you might not have thought of on your own. You can create virtual boards to “pin” your favorites and look back at them later. You can also check out our Pure7 Studios page on Pinterest for boards of inspiration we’ve pinned to over the years!

Mint

This is a great and free tool for setting up a budget! Not exclusive to weddings, Mint allows you to set spending guidelines and track all of your purchases in one place. Having a set budget to reference can be helpful as you consider all the finer details of your big day! Plug your account information directly in the app, and Mint will help you track where you’re spending to help you stay in line with your customized budget guidelines. Even after the wedding is over, you and your spouse can benefit from organizing your finances through Mint.

Evernote

This app is a note-taker’s best friend. Organize your creative thoughts and ideas, to-do’s, reminders and more all in one place! There’s even a built-in feature that allows you to easily send your notes to others too. This app is like an all-in-one virtual notebook. Easily incorporate photos, links, PDFs and different text formatting into your notes.

Etsy

Etsy is a great resource for finding jewelry, decorations, invitations, bridesmaid gifts and more. Because Etsy is a platform for artisans to sell their craft, you can often personalize these items to meet your particular needs. When you shop on Etsy, you’re not only going to find high-quality, unique pieces, but you will also be supporting small businesses!

There are so many great resources out there that can inspire your dream wedding details! These six options are just a few of our favorites – let us know, do you have any others to add to the list?
