Destin and 30A have dozens of beautiful beach communities that offer great options for family portrait sessions. There are picturesque sites both on and off the beach and it’s no wonder families love to have their photos taken when they come to the Emerald Coast for vacations and getaways.  

This week we are happy to share some images from the Laskowski family’s beach portrait session.  Natalie arranged for this session to happen during their first family vacation to Destin. Their family wanted to capture the memories and document this stage in life.  A one-hour sunset session in Rosemary Beach was perfect for their extended family session, which included five adults and two kids.  

Rosemary Beach has been a longtime favorite location for us.  We’ve lived close by since its inception and witnessed firsthand its transformation into the highly sought-after destination that it’s become.  We love photographing portrait sessions here!  It’s one community where you truly get the feeling you’re in a parallel universe where time is kept by listening for the town bells at the top of every hour.  Days can go by without ever setting foot inside a car.

It is the place to be when you’re seeking some respite from everyday life.  Best of all, most everything is within walking distance.  The Laskowski’s session is a great example of the various locations you can take advantage of that are walkable from one another!
