As COVID-19 restrictions begin to lift and our community starts to reopen, we thought we’d gather and share a list of some local restaurants and shops that you can continue to support in Destin and 30A.  Below are a few of our favorites and some that come recommended by our local friends.  We hope you can find some great options to enjoy again!

Restaurants

Surfing Deer – A favorite in 30A, Surfing Deer offers dine-in and takeout options. They have limited seating, but are accepting reservations now.

Shunk Gulley Oyster Bar – Open from 11am-9pm with live music daily, Shunk Gulley is another great option in 30A, offering almost a full menu.

Black Bear Bread Co – A longtime favorite bakery, coffee shop, and seasonal cafe, Black Bear Bread Co has to-go service and curbside pickup.  You can order online or give them a call to take your favorite treats home.

Pescado – In Rosemary Beach, Pescado is now open daily and accepting reservations for indoor dining.  Their outdoor seating is available on a waiting list as well.

Cantino LaredoThe Grand Boulevard location has reopened and has dine-in, takeout, or delivery options available.  

The Pancakery of Destin A great option for breakfast and lunch, the Pancakery is open and has patio seating available as well as indoor seating with tables at least six feet apart.

790 on the Gulf – Florida seafood with a Louisiana twist, 790 on the Gulf is another beachfront go-to that’s ready for your lunch & dinner orders.  From cajun style seafood to comfort food, they have an option for everyone and outdoor seating is also available.

The BayOver in Santa Rosa Beach, The Bay offers waterfront dining with views of Choctawhatchee Bay.  They have indoor and outdoor dining options and a private beach.

Shops

Salt Air 30AThis bike shop with rentals available has all the bike sizes and accessories for kids too.  Located at the Hub 30A, they’re a great option for your outdoor fun. 

Alter’d State – Alter’d State is one of several shops open again in Grand Boulevard.  With women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry and decor, they are a great shop to explore in Sandestin. 

Pink ‘n Blue Avenue Boutique – This children’s boutique store is now open (like many of the stores and restaurants in the Destin Commons).  They offer boys and girls clothes, accessories, toys and plenty of gift options. 

Margaret Ellen Bridal – In Inlet Beach, Margaret Ellen Bridal is reopen and ready to set an appointment for your personal and private shopping experience! 

Nate and Lane – Looking to add some personality to your front porch while you still social distance and enjoy your own home?  Nate and Lane has beautiful custom made porch swings and you can shop online and have your favorite one delivered.

Grand Boulevard Farmers Market – Open on Fridays and Saturdays now, the farmers market at Grand Boulevard is a great place to find some local meats, produce, and more while supporting our local farmers.
