Airstream Row – In the heart of Seaside, you can find Airstream Row – home to several vintage Airstream food trucks. Tucked on the sidewalk in front of the amphitheater and shopping center, the area is nice and walkable with plenty of sites to see and a large grass area for the kids to run and play throughout. Nearby shops include Sundog Books, Duckies Shop of Fun, and more!
The Village at Baytowne Wharf – The Village at Baytowne Wharf is a great place to entertain the kids! They have activities for the kids all summer long. During July and August, they host fireworks shows weekly with lawn games, inflatables for the kids to jump in, and more! The fun starts in their event space and the fireworks follow in the later evening hours. For even more information and details on where to find the fun at Baytowne Wharf, click HERE.
Rock Paper Scissors 30A – Rock Paper Scissors 30A is a creation studio located in Grayton Beach. You can walk-in and pick a project for any age or checkout their unique take-home kits. Each kit has its own YouTube instructional videos for you to follow along each step of the way if you prefer to create at home!
Thrills Laser Tag and Arcade – Thrills is located in the Seascape complex in Miramar Beach, amongst several dining options. It’s a mid-size arcade and when the fun is winding down, you can walk next door to Moo La La for some ice cream to end the night! Friday nights the Seascape center hosts free family entertainment with live music, magicians, fire dancers, and more (all in the open space to the right of the arcade)!
Fun 4 Emerald Coast Kids – Fun 4 Emerald Coast Kids has an entire section on their website devoted to local area family fun! It’s a popular local resource for family-friendly events and activities in Okaloosa County, Walton County, Bay County, and surrounding areas. You can also check out their frequently updated calendar for events and things to do year-round!
The Commons – At first glance, it looks like your average outdoor shopping mall. Take a walk around and find the free splash pad and playground, check out a movie at the AMC theatre, or head over to Uncle Buck’s for some fun family bowling!
The Track – Go-karts, mini-golf, bumper cars, and more are available at The Track. Kids of all ages will find something to do at Destin’s popular mini amusement park! Beat the heat inside the arcade, or play outside to your heart’s content!
Redbird Art – Looking for an interactive, creative option? At Redbird Art, kids and adults alike can create their own artwork from recycled materials. Have a Pinterest idea in mind to commemorate your vacation? Bring it with you, make it, and take it home to enjoy!
Buccaneer Pirate Cruise – Destin’s own pirate ship is a popular option for kid-friendly fun on a boat! With multiple sailing times Monday through Saturday, it can make a fun mid-week adventure. They have pirate-themed activities for the little ones and you can just relax and enjoy the show!
Okaloosa Island Pier – Want to take the kids fishing without getting on a boat? The Okaloosa Island Pier has a small entrance fee and you can rent whatever fishing gear you need! You don’t need a fishing license and they have bait, tackle, drinks, and snacks available for purchase.
Lulu’s – Hungry but still want family entertainment? Lulu’s has it! With live music daily and a playground for the kids in the back, Lulu’s is a fun option day or night. During the day, there are paddleboard and kayak rentals and lessons, yoga classes, henna and hair wraps, and even seaplane intro-flights!
