What is more romantic than a gorgeous fall day, a perfect beach setting, and a beautiful couple vowing to love each other for a lifetime? Spoiler alert: nothing! Last October, family and friends gathered together a to celebrate Kristin and Beau tying the knot, and their wedding was a day to remember.
This cute couple’s journey began when a mutual friend set them up five years ago. Though their friend tried to pretend like Kristin and Beau’s meeting was a coincidence, they later discovered that she had set up the entire thing. We are so glad she did! Even though Beau was sick, he still took Kristin out on their first date at her favorite steak restaurant in New Orleans, and they have been together ever since.
Kristin says she could not have asked for a more romantic proposal. After dinner with friends, the duo headed to the Sazerac Bar in the Roosevelt Hotel for some drinks. Beau dropped to one knee right outside of the bar and asked his love to marry him. Although Kristin cannot remember if she said yes because she could not stop crying, her answer was clear! After slipping the ring onto her finger, their family and friends came out of the bar to surprise them with champagne. It was a wonderful way to share that special moment with everyone they love.
Their wedding day was enchanting. Aside from the perfect late October weather, there was not an empty seat on the beach, as all of their family and friends were excited to celebrate the love between Kristin and Beau. From the flowers to the arbor and the sunset, the ceremony was nearly as stunning as the bride. As Kristin walked down the aisle, she had eyes only for her future husband. The nervousness she felt by walking in front of everyone washed away as she looked at Beau, and the couple shared an intimate moment exchanging their vows in front of the people they cared about most.
The reception following the ceremony kept the fun going. Kristin and Beau danced to Marry Me by Train, and the DJ made sure the dance floor was never empty. It was a wonderful way to end a perfect day. A honeymoon and a baby later, we are cannot wait to see what adventures are in store for this adorable family of three!
