Senior photo sessions are always a blast, and working with Saylor to capture moments she will treasure forever was no different. A few years ago, I worked with Saylor and her family during a family photo shoot, and this soon-to-be graduate decided to come back for her senior session. Of course, she also knew she did not want to pass up a weekend trip to Seaside! Who could blame her? Saylor’s enthusiasm, positive attitude, and passion for laughing made for an entertaining and memorable photo shoot.
Saylor is currently attending Brookhaven High School and will graduate in May. Her high school career has included all kinds of activities and memories that she will cherish forever. She loves to paint, is learning the piano, and plays for her high school soccer team. She seems to get herself into about five funny and even cringe-worthy situations a day, which always make for great stories later. One of her most unforgettable moments was during the school’s Homecoming Production, an event where the students sing and dance in a huge show for the returning graduates. A lot of hard work goes into the production, and Saylor remembers feeling emotional and crying while singing the alma mater, bringing everyone else to tears as well. Next year, she will enjoy the program from a graduate’s perspective for what we are sure will be another great experience!
From her 10th grade English teacher to her best friend since 5th grade to her parents, Saylor has had amazing influences throughout her time in high school. To this day, Sailor boasts that her parents are the coolest people in her life – yes, even cooler than the quarterback of the football team or the girl who won class favorite!
During this senior shoot, she wanted her photos to exemplify her personality. Her outfits were thrown together during the shoot, which she claims is another good representation of her character. It also made for an unpredictably good time and fun photos.
Saylor will be attending Mississippi State University in the fall, and we are excited to see where this journey takes her. Wishing good luck to this young lady as she takes the world by storm!
