Senior Portraits in 30A & along the Emerald Coast
As a senior, you’re likely looking forward to your senior portrait session. After all, it’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to capture the memories of this special time in your life. It’s a time to celebrate your accomplishments and look forward to the future. But before you can enjoy the experience, there are some important steps you should take to prepare for your senior portrait session. Here are some tips on how to make sure your senior portrait session in 30A is a success, featuring some of our favorite images from Lexi’s senior portrait session in 30A.
At Pure7 Studios, we understand the unique needs of seniors. Ryan is a master at capturing the essence of who you are and creating beautiful images that will last a lifetime.
One of the most frequent questions we are asked by students preparing for their senior portrait session is “what should I wear?” For that, we have a complimentary wardrobe consultation you can take advantage of before your shoot to pull together the best outfits for you! You want to make sure that whatever you wear reflects your personality and style while also looking great in photos. Consider bringing several different outfits so that you have options during the shoot and can choose what looks best on camera – we have a couple of senior portrait session options that allow enough time for multiple outfits and even locations if you want to mix it up a bit as Lexi did below! You can also consider accessories like jewelry or hats that can add an extra element of style to your photos.
Think about what colors look best on you and what kind of style best reflects who you are at this stage of life. You want to look natural and comfortable in your photos, so avoid anything too flashy or over-the-top. Solid colors usually photograph better than patterns, but if you do choose something with a pattern make sure it isn’t too busy or distracting – and send us a picture of it for some feedback!
When it comes to senior portraits, location is key. You want to find a spot that will provide an interesting backdrop for your photos and help bring out your personality even more. 30A and Destin both offer plenty of beautiful scenery – from white sand beaches to lush green parks and we have photographed dozens of seniors over the past couple of years in some incredible locations. We would be happy to help you get an idea of what portraits in those locations would look like and decide which one will work best with your outfit(s) and vision for the shoot.
Most important of all? Relax & Have Fun!
Finally, don’t forget to relax and have fun during your session! Enjoy yourself and remember that this is an important milestone in your life – one that will be remembered forever through photographs – so don’t be afraid to show off who you truly are!
We love to bring out your personality and capture everything special about you.
Planning early enough will allow you to meet yearbook deadlines, print announcements, and share your experience with those who are special to you. Whether you want a studio session or an outdoor photoshoot, we are happy to help you coordinate the perfect option for you. Now’s a great time to look ahead at your schedule and fit a session in before the rest of your school year gets busy!
