  • Yes. Walton County requires a vendor permit for all commercial photography on public beaches. We hold this permit annually you don't need to arrange anything. For sessions at Henderson Beach State Park, the standard park entry fee applies and no additional permit is needed for personal sessions.

  • Yes. Our private portrait studio is in Freeport, FL, about 20 minutes from Miramar Beach. We also offer mobile headshot sessions at your office or resort anywhere along the Emerald Coast. We serve real estate agents, executives, healthcare professionals, and business teams throughout the Miramar Beach and Destin area.

  • Miramar Regional Beach Access for wide open Gulf views, the dune walkovers along Scenic Gulf Drive for classic beach portraits, and the Gulf-front residential streets for something quieter and more private. For seniors and couples, Henderson Beach State Park just west of Miramar offers a natural, uncrowded alternative.

  • Yes it's one of our most-booked locations for large groups. The beach access points are spacious, parking is easy, and the open shoreline gives big families room to move around without feeling crowded. We've photographed groups from 5 to 40+ people here with no issues.

  • Golden hour the hour before sunset is ideal. The light is warm, the beach gets quieter, and the Gulf turns a deep emerald that photographs beautifully. Early morning works well too, especially in summer when the beach is empty and temperatures are cooler.

 

Getting to Miramar Beach

Miramar Beach is located just east of Destin and blends the convenience of city access with the charm of a quieter beach town.

It’s:

  • About 10 minutes east of Destin

  • 20–25 minutes west of Seaside

  • Easily accessed via US-98 or Scenic Gulf Drive

  • Plenty of public beach access points with boardwalks and parking
