Great Southern Café – Known for their Grits à Ya Ya, this laid-back spot serves up Southern favorites with a coastal twist.

The Seaside Amphitheater – A popular spot for outdoor movies, concerts, or just relaxing on the grass after your session.

Airstream Row – Iconic silver food trucks offering everything from grilled cheese to fresh juice — a fun photo op and snack break all in one.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Seaside's beach access is private it's reserved for guests renting within the community. If you're staying in Seaside, access is straightforward and we'll plan your session accordingly. If you're staying nearby, we'll advise on the best alternative access point along 30A that still gives you the Gulf backdrop you're looking for. The town itself Ruskin Place, Central Square, the cottage streets is fully accessible and photographs beautifully regardless of where you're staying.

  • Our favourite Seaside locations are Ruskin Place courtyard for its private, garden-like atmosphere, Central Square for a vibrant town-centre feel, the pastel cottage-lined streets for colour and character, and the beach access path at golden hour for classic Gulf Coast portraits. Most sessions cover both the town and the beach two completely different looks in one session.

  • For town and architecture shots, early morning is ideal streets are empty, light is soft, and the pastel cottages look their best before the day crowd arrives. For beach sessions, the hour before sunset is the sweet spot the Gulf glows, the light turns warm and golden, and the photos look effortlessly beautiful. We don't recommend midday sessions in Seaside the town gets busy and the light is harsh.

  • Yes Seaside is one of our most requested locations for both. The Seaside Amphitheater, Ruskin Place courtyard, and the beachfront are all popular ceremony and portrait spots. The town's character gives wedding and engagement photos a sense of place that a generic beach backdrop can't replicate. We know Seaside's permit requirements and logistics well and handle all of that on your behalf.

  • Summer sessions (June through August) book fast 4 to 6 weeks out is typical, sometimes more for Saturday sunset slots. If you're planning a Seaside vacation, reach out as soon as your dates are confirmed. Fall and spring are more flexible, though October and March tend to book quickly too. Off-season sessions (November through February) usually have the most availability and the quietest streets.
